I was watching South Park online and I just got a major kick out of
the plot: it's about Jimmy Valmer running a completely ad-free
newspaper (and criticizing politically-correct culture). I just had to
laugh because Gopher and/or text browsers already offer the news
without any of those ads this episode (S19E08) from 2015 is blasting.
It's just a reminder of how much worse the WWW is than I experience it
because around 97% of the time I'm either without JS or with uBlock
Origin turned on. Crazy.
