I love to answer Christina's questions and read
others' answers. She wrote 5 new ones!

1. What are you grateful for from 2022?

    - Graduated nursing school.
    - Daughter, Evy, roommate, inlaws, parents,
        Bugz, church, classmates, AA.
    - Stable housing, hot water, food stamps,
        Medicaid, decent job, dependable little
        stick-shift hatchback car.
    - Creek, trails, sidewalks in my town.

2. Has the internet changed the way you think?

    I'm a '90s kid; internet influenced how I
    think. I made an Angelfire webpage for my
    'zine in 1998. Stayed part of a circle of
    conflict medics almost 20 yrs via listserv.
    Found good community on sdf and via gopher.

3. What do you believe is true though you can't
    prove it? 

    - Too much of anything's bad for you.
    - Kids in big houses don't play outside be-
        cause it's too far.
    - There's enough for everybody to live well.
    - Rich people aren't happy, they're trapped.

4. What have you changed your mind about and why?

    I couldn't understand what made the 1992-95
    Bosnian War happen til cables from Canadian 
    peacekeepers were declassified last year. I
    learned about US sabotage of peace talks and
    escalation by international mujahideen.

5. What would you like to return to?

    I just returned to reading C. Vann Woodward's
    (1951) Origins of the New South, a masterwork 
    that demands time & attention. Started 2nd
    chapter last night!

    I want to get back to bicycling & working on/
    riding my motorcycle.

    I want to get a little hot violence back in
    my life; my libido's starting to return.

Things to love in life:

    1. A job well done.
    2. Fresh-baked sourdough bread.
    3. Clean kitchen.
    4. Long walk adventure.
    5. Being a regular somewhere.
