# Big Adventures' Pee-Wees - alfred's Gemlog I like getting a lot out of a little (cf. Raspberry Pi computers) - so I'm naturally drawn to small-displacement motorcycles and scooters. Stories of cross-country travel seem more remarkable and interesting if accomplished on a small bike (e.g., Honda Super Cub) than on big touring one (e.g., Honda Gold Wing). Having owned mostly 250cc-class motorcycles during my riding years, I felt that as long as the bike could reach the legal speed limit, and hold it on hills, it was sufficiently powerful. My longest trip was 949 miles, on a Honda Nighthawk 250 (which was borderline by that criterion). => gemlog.gmi Back to Gemlog contents Last edited: 2025-10-09
