Journal Entry, May 1 2023 Things have been going better lately. The panic attacks have slowed down, and with the medication my doctor has been giving me I'm able to go to my pharmacy and other places without having a total breakdown en route. It's gotten to the point that I actually voluntarily did some shopping while I was downtown, which is something I absolutely would not have done before. There's a new dollar store near my doctor's office and so I wanted to check it out. Fifty cent chocolate bars?! In this economy?! You're damn right I loaded up! Also, I've just discovered that nano has a "justify paragraph" command that, hopefully, is correctly formatting this text file for display. I've been going back and forth between manually wrapping lines every 80 characters or so, or just letting the line go on and letting the browser do the wrapping. Not sure what ends up looking better across the various display types people might be using. It's hard to believe it's already May. Time flies! This past weekend I virtually attended the Open Hardware Summit, which was a lot of fun. Open source hardware is really starting to take off, and the number of people from academia that participated (... apparently I just published this without finishing that sentence?)
