Well, I haven't written on Gopher for *checks notes*, FOUR YEARS. That
is a freakishly long time to spend away from writing random bits of
data that will probably only be read when the universe collapses upon
itself in the great Heat Death of the universe.

Regardless, I thought it would be a nice moment to write something
here about what has happened in these 4 (five?) years. I am older
now--20 instead of 16, and arguably I've accrued a significant amount
wisdom just by being alive and doing things, though I still don't do
the things that would move me towards my goals the most. I still
question whether my goals are even what I really want, I still love
UNIX, I still do random shit. Yeah overall I have not changed that
much.
