subj: your time is the most valuable thing you own

I seen videos on youtube where older men give advice about what
all their years have shown them. In the videos the men tell how
the one thing you have you never get back is your time. They
usually end up saying choose how you use or give your time
wisely. I hear this and wonder about the truth in what is
expressed. 

My logic mind says; the belief, your most precious commodity
time, is horseshit. 

My idea here is without time you have nothing.

I can't give time. 
	I can't give anyone extra moments of life. 

I only have time. 
	While I'm alive every moment is all I truly have, no
	matter who I'm with, or what I'm doing. 

I have no idea how much time I have. 
	Nobody knows when they will die. 

Who is the arbiter of time, and what or who deserves it? 
	Can I waste time?
