Tell gopher.club to frigging update =================================== If you're new on sdf.org, you might find that your wonderful new phlog doesn't update on gopher.club, or it takes forever. Well, there's a little something you forgot: telling gopher.club to frigging update by running the following command: touch ~ftp/pub/users/$your-username Obviously change $your-username for your actual username. I know, I know, it seems condescending, but I'd rather be explicit. Anyway, that changes the metadata of your files so whatever script sdf.org is using "picks it up" as updated. Tip: save that command on a file that could be called tell_gopherclub_to_frigging_update.sh Then you can run it by entering: sh tell_gopherclub_to_frigging_update.sh Then, in a little time, (their script probably runs every so often), you'll see your phlog updated on gopher.club. Hopefully! Have a wee patience. Source: https://sdf.org/?tutorials/gopher 2025-04-15 08:41:25
