Looking for good old content

Recently, I've been led to consider that one of the
strengths of Gopher is their sheer ammount of good
old content; sometimes even decades old. The trouble,
it seems, it's to find it.

I might resort to search engines. I will, actually.
But the probleme with those is that you can only find
what you're looking for. I want something more akin
to a library where you can browse, navigate if it
were, through a sea of books.

There are a few directories on gopher. Yet, I've been
told they are often incomplete and not up to date,
containing errors and such.

So, I'm asking you: Where may we find some nice old
content?  Surprise me.
