2018-11-01 The Crappiest Month of the Year

It's November 1st...ah, November, how crappy thou art!

It's grey and rainy again today. Again. I suppose I can't blame
November for being a crummy month solely for the weather. October was
pretty bad for lack of sun and being wet and miserable. It's just that
November has so little going for it. There are no holidays or happy
special events in it. There's Remembrance Day on the 11th but that's a
sombre and serious affair. Christmas doesn't really get going until
December. November is just there like a cold grey lump lurking near
the end of the year.

Halloween was a great success. The kids had a blast trick-or-treating
and we gave out all our candy. Win! Now, it's just a matter of putting
away the Halloween decorations until next year. While Halloween isn't
really my thing, I'm very glad the children had fun.
