2018-11-26 Dismal Day

It is so grey and oppressive outside that it makes me want to
scream. I've had the lights on in the office for the entire day and
there wasn't enough natural light to see anything. It's so hard to be
positive and motivated to work on days like these. In addition, it's
been raining the whole day. Ugh. In spite of this, I have managed to
get a bit of work done. I'm also writing this phlog entry so I should
get points for that too.

I should be celebrating because I managed to get the outdoor Xmas
lights done yesterday in that one-day window of reasonable weather we
had this week. I spent almost an hour figuring out how I hung all the
strings of lights so I would be able to power the set-up, including
having to rehang a bunch of lights on the edge of my roof.

Basically, I'm missing my kids and my spouse. I can't wait for them to
come home.
