2018-12-01 Maps and Saturday Work

I'm back working at my friend's place again today. It's slow so I'm
fiddling with Inkarnate (https://inkarnate.com/), a web-based RPG
mapping application. I'm using the free version and I'm pretty
impressed already. The number of assets is limited to 100 in the free
version but you can upgrade to a set of 500 assets for a monthly
subscription of USD $5.00 per month or USD $25 per year (which is a
pretty good deal!). At this point, I'm still pretty happy with the
free version. It does seem to be limited to outdoor maps rather than
dungeon or interior maps. This is fine because I backed an dungeon
mapper called Dungeon Builder (https://hobbyte.net/) and I'm quite
happy with that for the moment. A nice top-down dungeon mapper would
be good too but it's not like I *need* these applications.

It's been busy today at the store, just like last week. The holidays
are coming so I think everyone is stocking up. The extra freelance
income is welcome this time of the year (or any time really) so I have
