	Last spring tomasino asked gopherspace a few fun questions 
    	to get some interactions rolling. Lots of people participated and
	he amassed joy from seeing both the feedback and learning a bit 
    	more about some gopher phloggers. Well, he is in desperate need
	of some joy right now so I opted to come alive and participate![0]

1. Think back and try to remember the most satisfying drink of
	   water in your life. What's the story of that drink?

Oh that's easy. Today June 5 2020. My spouse wears his coat and 
turns the temperature up to 75F (US car -- everyone else, 22C).
It was a humid 69F today. I had heaps of coffee this morning
to get some unfun tasks off my list before taking the husband to
chemotherapy. I'm parched, and perspiring on the drive to
Bellingham. My face is a salt lick. 

I also forgot to bring our bag of US coins (they still
have vending machines in Washington State; if I had them I would 
sneak into a hospital or Best Western), and both my debit cards 
were at home.  When my spouse had entered the Cancer Center I 
took a swig of water from his water bottle. Oh did it inflate me
and put the colour back in my irises!

Too bad you didn't ask about my most satisfying drink of Coca-Cola.

	2. Have you ever personally witnessed an act of human compassion
	   that brought you to tears?
Not offscreen, no.	The ending of Chaplin's "City Lights" (1931) cues
 my waterworks. The final shot is iconic, I suspect Chaplin developed
the outline of the film from it.

	3. When is the last time you fell off a bicycle?
April 1981. I broke my arm. We lived on a steep hill. Interestingly I
have fallen off my 400cc bike but never hurt myself.
