I like to work on projects to keep busy. For me, they come in two categories:
language learning and coding.

What I don't like is trying to come up with a project to stick to. I prefer
dipping into languages, which is fun, but doesn't lead to deep understanding.
Concentration and patience are not my strengths at all.

I have a natural focus for coding projects, web development, because I am
looking for work in that area. I mostly work in JavaScript frameworks
like React and Vue. But what do I do that would be something 1) different,
2) useful (to me), 3) worth the effort to plan before writing a line of code?

I'll come up with something. Don't ask me about it tomorrow though.
