Title: A Hot Summer

Here in Torino the heat and humidity are unbearable. I can't stand this kind
of climate - and neither my old macbook, that is at the end of its life.

A quick update on my exams: I successfully passed "European Projects,
Innovation and Intellectual Property Law" and "Synthesis and Mechanisms in
Organic Chemistry". It was hard, but I did it. Organic chemistry in particular
was a real pain, since anxiety levels were very high. However this stuff is
gone and now I should focus on the present.
Thursday I will take "Agricaltural Chemistry" exam. Am I prepared? Hell no,
but I *must* succeed, whatever it takes.

Now it's time for the big announcement: I've got a scholarship!!!
I should start my PhD in November, but there's a request that I must satisfy.
I have to graduate in October, otherwise I will lose my scholarship - and
dignity. Basically in August and September I will be fully engaged in writing
my thesis. I was almost forgetting: my code works and the results are great,
but I will talk about this topic in future.

At the end of this week I will take a break. This was a tough year and a week
off is necessary. My girlfriend and I will go to Camargue (France). The idea
is to rest, sunbathe and do nothing.
