# Little posts

I set up my gemlog in February, wrote a few big posts, and then left it dormant. I like the idea of writing on here but big posts weren't working for me, so I've cleaned the slate and am starting fresh.

One reminder to put something here is that SDF.org is named after the Super Dimension Fortress from Macross/Robotech. I was in a second-hand book shop two weeks ago and I picked up a Robotech novel for a euro. It is a pleasantly ridiculous book that makes no effort to onboard new readers to a complicated lore with bundles of established characters. I'm having a nice wander through the book, not really knowing exactly what everything is. Anyway! It features SDF-3 - a big ol' spaceship, and that reminded me that I have some disk space on the real-life SDF. So here we are.
