Processing Power

I agree Intel's i86 line is premium computing but the people of the planet
no longer needs "premium" to accomplish there computing needs.  In terms of
money, heat generation and power consumption there are cheaper alternatives. 
In my humble opinion powerful chips will become the tools of complex special
purpose server clusters and the specialized desktop.  The desktop itself
will be relegated to software developers and engineers.
