Buttermilk Pie Ingredients: 1/2 cup Butter, melted 1.5 cup sugar 3 Tbsp Flour 3 eggs, beaten 1 tsp Vanilla 1 cup buttermilk A pinch of salt A deep dish pie shell (homemade or store bought) Directions: 1.) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F 2.) Beat butter and sugar together until light 3.) Add eggs and beat; then add and beat in vanilla 4.) Sift the dry ingredients together and add to batter alternating with the buttermilk; beat until smooth 5.) Pour into pie shell and place on baking sheet; bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 50-60 minutes until golden brown and delicious 6.) Pie should jiggle; insert knife and remove--should be clean 7.) Let cool and serve at room temp or warmed slightly
