The first night only a few people stayed on site. I created a small fire circle. Dug a hole, put some rock down and started gathering elders to put around in a circle. I enjoy the gathering of rocks around a fire. The rocks tend to want to get out for a bit and get warmed up by the fire. We sat around, an Italian, a Japanese girl, a Quebecer, a Canadian, and a Taiwanese. I love the multi-culturalism of the event. We talked for a bit. I was asked about my communication consultant skill, how to make money as a creative person. It was nice and simple. We went to bed a bit past 12, one of our friend was already passed out in his tent. A cute guy who love nature. Our tent was by the river, and it was very loud. Naima wasn't sure she could fall asleep but I was really tired and didn't want to move the tent. I knew I would hallucinate (without any substance) all these noise and voices, but I was ready to try it out and try to fall asleep. We saw a huge hare in the forest, gently running away. It seemed so big, maybe because of the light we were using. It felt welcoming too. We laid down in the tent, and the show started. At first it was gentle voices. Then more of a singing type of sound. The noise created by a river is such a complex noise, not steady white noise style, but always moving and morphing, quite organic. The singing was nice, but I knew that I had to fall asleep soon as the sound will transform soon. Naima was restless, and soon the sounds transformed. This time the growling of the rocks below the surface joined in. I guess you can hear these at all time, but it seems to take a moment to be able to hear them. These lower growling tones are scarier. Something is moving, and you don't know what. It gives a lot more food for the imagination, for the fear to settle in. We decided at that point that we would change spot and move the tent to the dance floor. We did, and finally had a few hours of sleep. I didn't sleep too well, and woke up early. I went to get some more wood for the fire, and setup for breakfast. Egg tacos! I really like tacos when camping. It's easy, you don't need a plate, I use soft shell so they don't break, and you can fill them with anything. It's also gluten free! I continued the fire circle. Walking in the forest asking the elders if they wanted to join, getting warmed up after being in the ground for so long. I like talking to rocks, interacting with them in this way. It's very peaceful. I started the fire from last night. Although I poured water on the fire, there were still some heat, some embers, so the fire didn't really died. I liked that it continued, and it would continue for the next 48 hours without a rest. Somewhat the heart of the event, right at the entrance. We ate, and slowly people started to wake up, and slowly the whole crew arrived. We continued to prepare for the party, as it was starting at 5pm. The forest slowly transformed from a unwelcoming wild forest, to a gently modified fairy house. The forest was really dark, not letting much sun coming in. Perfect for a dance floor. I was exhausted before the party, so I went to setup our tent in a different spot and put out my hammock. I took a quick nap in there, and was ready to party. I danced, had an early tequilla drink, and then went into psychedelic, mdma and mushrroom has been my preferred blend for the dance floor. I meet Molly, I met a lot of people. I saw to young wicca that I've seen online. They had setup a shop next to the dance floor. There were all kind of hippies, weirdo, fire spinner, jugglers, it felt so good to be there. I'm used to party by myself, so I'm no demanding of other's attention. I do my thing, I have my fun and if I am not to connect or to talk to anyone I would still have the time of my life. I feel like it makes people want to join in my fun as I am not reaching out. It felt good and well balanced. Kissing Molly was my highlight, made me really happy and warm, just before the sunrise. By the time it was light out, I needed to crash, went for a few hours of sleep, before coming back up. I saw Molly in the morning. She wasn't feeling good and I offered her a massage. She needed more sleep, but wanted to come in when I'd offer the massage workshop. I wasn't on top of my game either. I had too much tequilla and it wasn't agreeing with me. I really don't like that. I feel like I have to find a way to just drink a little, or have something else to start the night, some nice herbal tea with a strong effect... I went to the river to clean up, went for a nap. I saw Zoe who gave me a bread, she was also not in a good mood. People partied quite a lot yesterday, and most of the organizer were a bit burnt. I rested a lot that day, back and forth from my hammock, until I offered the thai massage workshop. I went to get Molly first, it was the sweetest massage I offered in a long time, then massage FenRose, Yo, and a few other people. Julia was mixing at that time, so I was looking forward to be done and went dancing with the crew. It was so nice to be back on the dance floor with them all, with the tribe. We had a few more hours of dancing and then the music stopped in the early evening. I wish I could stay but we had to leave that night. We packed, said our goodbye, I hugged Molly passionately. I still wonder if I should have kissed her again or taken her contact. I miss her now. We drove home and crash quite early that night, reviewing our weekend and how much fun we had.
