Three days before the next festival. We're staying at Marc's today. A friend I met while partying here in the Okanagan Valley. He's also separated a year ago, starting to explore his life as a single man. He seems less picky about the type of woman he dates. He's having a lot of fun so it seems. We drank together yesterday night after a party for my friend healing journey. We talked about where we are in our single's journey. It was refreshing to talk openly about this. He is simple and happy, he likes big boobs and sex. We laugh a lot. I decided a couple days ago that I am not ready to be in a relationship, he also said that. Being married for over 10 years, it's not the time to be locked down again. He spoke about polyamorous and how a lot of people are getting away from the concept of being in a couple, belonging to someone else. Going against the traditional coupling. It makes sense. Talking to him gave me more confidence in enjoying the next festival. I realized that the last few time I approached women, I was talking to them about fairly boring stuff. What was I trying to do? I am not looking for a relationship. Why would I bore people with my life plans? What could I be looking for? I really liked to kissed Molly. It was spontaneous, gentle and very sweet. Can that be my goal? If I get excited about someone, maybe I ask for a kiss? Instead of talking. I find you very attractive. I'd like to kiss you. Or massage you, or tattoo you... along these lines I guess. I feel that a kiss might be the simplest approach. It's interesting to clarify what I really want, and what is possible to get to in a festival itself. I hope I can rest enough, clean the car and get ready for the festival. I need to do a bit of work today and we'll see where it all lands.
