The water pipe at the lake is leaking, so I don't have a lot of water to the house. Need to dig 4 feet of gravel and see what the problem is. Hopefully it's a loose joint, but it might be a bigger problem. I have all the tools here, and a good ammount of pipe to fix it all. The problem is, I don't really want to dig. I'd rather hire someone else to do the digging, I do the fixing and filling back the hole. We'll lets have tea first, but with so little water, I'd rather heat my tea on the woodstove. But it's full of hashes since I've burn so many things just before Christmas. Get the bucket and shovel, hey I'm digging already! Two full buckets of hashes, the woodstove was getting full. Not that it reduce its ability to heat the house, but a lot less wood would fit in there. I start my fire, heat some water. I call around; "Who wants to work the day after Christmas in the rain digging on the beach." I wish I had a bit of a community around here that would be willing for stuff like that. If we'd be 4 or 5 people here, it would take about one hour and the problem would be fixed. All by myself is a whole afternoon of work, just for my water to work normally. Living in the middle of nowhere really builds my character.
