The North Mississippi Allstars are carrying on the Hill Country Blues tradition that came to the attention of the Blues world when Junior Kimbrough and R.L. Burnside started playing festivals in Mississippi and Arkansas. Luther and Cody Dickinson are sons of the Memphis music legend, Jim Dickinson. After their father passed on they reformed the North Mississippi Allstars with Chris Chew.

Here they are again at The Orange Peel on May 16, 2008 with guest Alvin Youngblood Hart playing "Hear My Train Comin".
