There was a time when I was troubled, I was blue.
Didn’t have no friends, didn’t know what to do.
Then when I found Jesus, I fell on my knees in prayer.
Jesus told me “You can start by helping those people over there.”

They were hungry, they were sick, they were lost in a world of sin.
I fed them when I could, I let the healing begin.
Jesus said to help them, and it helped me too.
Love gave me a purpose, I had something good to do.

I can see the world at war so many people filled with hate.
The Prince Of Peace will lead the way, love will open up the gate.
It’s hard to change the world still I want to live in peace.
