# bombadillo, the non-web, terminal based browser I don't remember I ever said it but I just love the Bombadillo browser for gopher, gemini sites. Partially because I prefer vim as an editor I suppose. It's quick, the keyboard shortcuts are vim-like so very easy to master, and commands are also very intuitive. The bookmark works great. With lynx I can browser http/https sites too. # But it is not avaliable for FreeBSD However as I turned to my old laptop running latest FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE-p2, too my surprise, I found out that it is not avaliable for FreeBSD, in ports or pkg. I downloaded the source code then, the compiling requires GNU-make and Go-lang, which are of course avaliable in pkg. And it builds, installs and runs well. I hope there is a way to push it to FreeBSD pkg. I suppose the way a package finds its way into FreeBSD pkg is to go through ports first? But I don't use ports, nor do I know how.
