Right tool to browse Gopher? ============================ I have been observing a strange thing: I read Gopher pages mostly on my old SGI machines. Usually on my IRIS Indigo R3k but also on my O2. While I usually browse Gopher in the Netscape Navigator I also use the Lynx. And this is strange: all my modern computers run Lynx but I feel somewhat uncomfortable when I use the Lynx there. I have no idea why. Of course I can use the Overbite on the phone and inside the Firefox. I do. Anyway, the old Netscape or even the Lynx in old SGI terminal seem to be more comfortable. I have no idea why. Maybe the relatively small terminal window inside the large GUI screen looks strange? Maybe it's something else? By the way, I never used the "set colorcolumn=67" in the Vim before [1]. So useful it is! Written on the SGI IRIX Indigo....
