-robin, b-c chickadees, and 
house finch and song sparrow calls

i missed a birdwatching walk nearby because i
forgot it was happening today rather than next
sunday. 

i saw the enormous robin, leisurely standing in
the grass in the sun outside the window. two 
black-capped chickadees doing their tricks around
the feeders. 

this morning i heard many birds singing, and 
used the sound identification function on the 
Merlin bird app. two hits came up: house finch,
and song sparrow. i often saw a solo song sparrow
at the feeders through the winter. i recently
saw a bird i thought was a purple finch, but 
maybe they were a house finch. or the app
misidentifed the call.
