I've been VERY interested in doing that myself too! *I would
   love to see a "Visual Basic" for Deskmate, which would allow ANY
   IBM compat with graphics card to run a nice menuing system that
   -doesn't- require a mouse (but uses it if it *available). The
   Deskmate Software Developer's Kit is still available from Tandy,
   I think. *It would be GREAT if they'd release it into the public
   domain now, since they're not using the code anymore.
