There are many wonderful offline mail readers that will run
   perfectly on the HX (especially with two floppy drives!). My
   suggestion (Internet purists will not like this suggestion, but
   it works well on the HX) is to download Bluewave 3.13. *It is
   wonderful for BBS usage, and will also work with Internet hosts
   that have "uqwk" installed. And it's fast and colorful too! :-)
   *I used it on a Zenith laptop at college which was an 8086 w/two
   720K floppies - one was the DOS diskette (which the HX doesn't
   need anyway :-> ) and the other contained Bluewave and a
   telecommunications program. *(Kermit or Procomm Plus, I don't
   remember anymore)
