I suspect they are originally Spanish commercials. *I've seen
   the same commercials on the Spanish TV channels in New Jersey
   (channel 42 and 47) and they fit much better there. Still, after
   a few Mentos commercials, I started to like them. *The absurd
   arrogance of a silly blond-headed guy getting into a
   businessman's car to get through it, the shock on the
   businessman's face, and then the businessman smiling back at the
   young silly-blond-headed man with a knowing, "Ahh - kids will be
   kids". They're kinda cute commercial's really :-)
