   with PX-8 (Epson Geneva PX-8) Laptop, circa 1984 - battery
   replacement is difficult. Radio Shack sells a replacement,
   through Consumer Mail Center, for $31.99. Since it's 4 sub-C
   rechargable batteries (total: 4.8V, 1100mA), I figured that I
   could rig it together myself. No luck yet, but I'm bad with
   solder.* So tonight, I will be soldering 4 sub C rechargable
   Ni-Cads together, which will total 4.8V and 1600mA.* Hopefully,
   this won't blow the computer to bits (about 500mA more than the
   battery I'm replacing). Let's see what happens!* If it works,
   I'll keep you posted. -- Kenneth
