I try to avoid saying, "Well, when we lived up North, we used
   to..." because it sounds elitist, especially to a true "Florida
   cracker" and it's just not nice. The weather, I don't mind
   talking about 'cause we're just a plane ride away from anywhere
   in the US :) And I LOVE dealing with customer service 'cause
   they'll hear the birds chirping loudly, or the frogs "peeping"
   in the summer and ask, "Where the heck ARE you calling from?" I
   forget these noises are foreign to most ppl. "
