^Do things at your own pace. There will always be somebody telling you to "hurry up!" or "slow down!" They have a different pace. To synchronize your pace with someone else requires cooperation. They must synchronize with you, and you must synchronize with them. You have a right to do things at your own pace. You may find the world moves at a slower pace than you or a faster pace than you. This can be frustrating. When you don't get cooperation, you may have to plan how to speed up or slow down your own pace accordingly to better match the pace of those around you. But don't spend too much time at somebody else's pace without having some time doing things at your own pace. By neglecting your natural pace, you will induce a lot of stress to your body and mind and eventually may have serious medical problems because of it.^
