   register for an account. It's free, it's #openvms is the
   successor to VAX/VMS . 99% of you won't know what this is unless
   you went to college in the 90s... but its a
   mainframe/minicomputer interface made by DEC (Digital Equipment
   Corporation) - and there are MANY similarities to MS-DOS -
   because MS-DOS was based on DEC's CP/M from 20 years prior.

   And.. it's just cool to have an excuse to Run... telnet... login
   with a name and password and actually *be* on another computer
   and feel like it - rather than just seeing silly pages all of
   the time. (ie webpages) coming from other computers.
