#Russian #grammar wheels. In my ancient history, I decided to learn Russian. In the process, I invented the Russian Grammar Wheels which I shared with a bunch of awesome folks on a #linguist forum - well, THE Linguist forum at the time. Basically, you stick them on a board and spin them around as you learn all the different ways a word can change. That's what makes English easier to learn in some ways: We have *some of* those things in English but not as much as Russian. What English has that sucks for foreign learners is we have of #weird words that don't follow any rules :P Anyway, the linguists on the list loved it - many of them professors and teachers - with a few students too - and I'm sure there are some floating around somewhere in the world - printed at their printers, cut out, handed to students as educational materials. Never mastered the language but by then I was moving to Florida and was no longer going to become a #priest in the Russian Orthodox church and join a #monastery . Yeah, I get ideas sometimes. :P
