^Tried my grits experiment. 1st: made regular grits. no-cal maple syrup from walmart + 1 tsp smart balance butter. Yummy - tasty stuff. Now the experiment: 1 1/3 cups Boiling water. Whisked in 1/2 cup egg white (equiv to 2 whole eggs). Added 1/3 cup grits. Kept stirring. Salt and Pepper. TOok a taste - tasted a lot of egg. Added 1/4 c cheddar and one tbl of parm/romano. It worked! 360 cals, 21g protein 32 carbs^
