yeah; I've been doing the best I can with what's easily available online: Wikipedia and Google Scholar when I wanted to understand something a little better. Basically, I've been trying to really grasp what's happening at the spot where sensory input meets the murmurs of the unconscious. * I've been* striving to be as accurate as possible while also tying it together in a comprehensible manner that it could be summarized and teachable to kids, while avoiding critical errors that could lead to bad ideas later on in them, should they pursue the subject more deeply. It's hard - what I thought would be a stay-up-all-night for a few weeks endevour has stretched on to a 17 months. Hard to avoid heading into "just-another-crackpot"-land.* I've got a ways to go.* No $$ for college level textbooks but I'll keep striving for more accuracy. I just see what gets used for teaching materials for kids and understanding consciousness and... it's dreadful.* I'm trying to be able to provide something a little better for them.
