That's fair. These are philosophical points; and quite difficult ones at that. I believe every language has a right to describe the Universe in the best way that it sees fit; and mathematics holds the greatest opportunity to do so in a way that's rock-solid and less prone to breakage within its borders than any other language of description. Now for myself, I subscribe a little closer to an embodied cognition model of mind; not entirely but it's the direction I've been heading. It's a much messier realm and may well turn out to be going down the rabbit hole, but I have to investigate. I'm not as worried about mathematics; there are geniuses like Max who have it covered; computers designed around its methodology, people well trained in its way of thinking, and a whole incredible system that extends backwards in history for, really, thousands of years. The proofs are its strength, even when the weakness may be in its axioms. But I wouldn't even attempt to 'go there' - I'm not nearly smart or clever enough
