I do not reject your definition of things; I accept that from
   your worldview, using the sets of assumptions you have built up
   and the tools that you are using, it works for you.* I think
   that's marvelous.* But I reject the universality of it. I tend
   to approach things from a sociocultural/historical perspective.
   I don't know if that helps you understand any better but what
   you may see as absolutes, I do not.* I see them as perspectives
   that have a historical and cultural basis and are contingent
   upon acceptance of a set of a priori constraints.
