What's real and what's fake? It's never an easy thing to determine. Written words can lie to different degrees, including these. Spoken words can lie. Body language can lie. Your eyes can deceive you as they're perspective is always limited. (can you see what's behind your screen right now? No, it's invisible to you but someone on the other side of the screen where you are can see it, but then they can't see what you see) Popular opinion can lie, one of the greatest weakness of shared opinion as a measure of truth. Your emotions always affect your reasoning process, for it takes an emotional push to help you decide one way or another about things. Your reason can change your emotion. Apathy, disinterest, boredom, following a system of thinking or a methodology instead of your passion can lie, because the system can be wrong. Weights or probabilities can substitute for the emotional "push" but the initial hypothesis or the final conclusion can be wrong, because again, the system or methodology could be wrong, or the human who first asks the question or interprets the answer is still human and suffering from the same potential flaws as every human. It doesn't even have to be 100% wrong. Just a little wrong can lead to a big wrong. So what's real and what's fake? What's right and what's wrong? What's completely true and completely false? I don't know. Just do the best you can with what you have. Don't lose hope. I consider life to be basically absurd and I watch the games that go on and observe. Perhaps that is my game. Observe the absurd and be grateful that I'm here to observe it.
