They are public figures but they have to be careful to
   distinguish between the Science and their personal opinions.*
   I've heard some REALLY stupid things come out of the mouths of
   some of these public figures - especially when they talk about
   History... dreadful... and not their field at all... and I
   cringe. It makes me think less of Science when they step out of
   their strong area. It's politicizing Science in a bad way and I
   wish they'd quit it.* They won't.* Drunk with power.* It's gotta
   be curtailed.* People hear, "Science - must be smart about other
   things too".* Bad... bad bad.
