The deity might not need gender, but humans may need a deity to
   have qualities broken down by gender for making the deity
   comprehensible.

   How do you explain the unexplainable? You make it relate.

   Doesn't mean it's entirely accurate. But as long as humans think
   in gender terms, we'll continue to split up our
   conceptualization of things in such a way.
