eah I took one of those tests, where you're asked to think of a whole bunch of possibilities simultaneously, I did it very quickly, came up with a lot. On other things I've taken, I always come up as 100% creative, over and over again. * Still, I hated those 'reading comprehension" scores from school; all "standardized". Meh. Does school try to wreck creativity? You betcha. That's part of their job. Always will be I suspect. * I'm glad for the ability; I process language like musical notes and I can split them up into chords, letters, words, notes, change the key, arpeggio, invert and all that good stuff. I'm grateful and make the most of it, but it's hard to shake that "I have a deficiency" sense. I want to argue back to the the teachers, "YOU SHOULDN'T BE TEACHING SINGLE ANSWER INFERENCE" but, well, that's considered a 'norm' and part of their job is enforcement of norms. * Anyway, thanks for letting me dump here. I also found a link which was an unfortunate help; http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0005796710001075 and I'll go down those rabbit holes for a little while, although once in the realm of psychology, explanations are sometimes a little wonky. [I almost went into psychology as a career but glad I didn't]
