[1]Lifespan_Retrieval_CurveHow much do you remember about yourself? Typically, the age between 0-5 is marked by what's called "childhood amnesia"; between 10 and 30 years old, is what's call the Reminiscence Bump, where memories are easily retrieved as that's often the time we form our identity of "Who We Are".* Beyond the age of 30, typically people remember what's recent but form fewer Reminiscence Memories. But, everybody is different.* Some people have a stronger Reminiscence Bump between 5-13 for example.* Some people don't have childhood amnesia and can remember events before the age of 5 more easily.* Some people have reminiscence bumps throughout their lives. Still, it's interesting to see what's "typical" and compare yourself to it and see what's the same, and what's different for you.* Surprising to me, though, is the *counting* of memories: How much do we *really* remember about ourselves?* How much do you remember about _yourself_? What will you remember about today, last year, and the times in your life yet to be? References Visible links 1. http://icopiedyou.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Lifespan_Retrieval_Curve.jpg
