Well I think GenX is considered to be ppl born between early 60s + mid 80s, but dates vary. Of course, you don't have to find the generation you find yourself in _relatable_. It's tough to point out for certain. For me, I was an 80s middle school/teenager. Graduated in 90. I lost interest in popular culture for a lot of the 90s, except for a brief foray into Gangsta Rap, club music, and some great mid90s movies. I skipped the Grunge and Fight Club alike. I was aware of it, but didn't have any emotional 'pull'. I regained my interest in pop culture starting around '06-07 again and I'm completely into GenZ stuff... mostly because I have to be to keep up with my nephew (and be a little ahead of him - he's 9... and I like knowing something b4 he does )
