What if the Unicorn was standing beside you the whole time? :)
   [that was always my favorite 'twist' in films/stories... when
   the quiet nebbish companion to the hero is suddenly seen for who
   she really is, and they have a passionate kiss, and then [Cue
   Credits]. "Why, it was you the whole time!" Usually the nebbish
   sidekick is the screenplay author writing herself/himself in and
   gives a nice 'twist' at the end that honestly, never gets old:
   The true companion who stayed by their side faithfully the whole
   time, while he hero went off on adventures for something else.
   Does this happen in reality?* I dunno.* But Unicorns are real in
   any case.
