[1]philosophy-religion-theology-aphorisms-quadrant2 How my brain thinks.* The relationship between philosophy and religion. I'll be surprised if it makes sense to anybody besides me.* The movie I was thinking of is The Matrix in particular.* Honestly, I think most categorizations of human knowledge and study and practice are ridiculous because everything overlaps.* But if people INSIST of splitting things up into categories, then I have to make something like this to explain it to them :P** I could be totally wrong too, but I think most categories are silly, unless I need to use them of course :P I don't see a distinction between Theology and Philosophy. They can bolster or hinder or accomplish nothing, depending on the recipient's state. Theology is to Religion what Philosophy is to Aphorisms. There's my Analogy-of-the-day. Theology and Philosophy are on the same level. Philosophy and Religion are, to me, on far corners of the quadrant, as are Theology and Aphorisms. They are on the same grid, but they're separated by two dimensions, not one. :: hands group construction-paper kindergarten thing : - here's how I see it. Corrections welcome, but this is how my brain categorizes these things. I should make them overlap in the middle but I really don't feel like that dong that. Just consider the middle *not excluded* '- there's plenty of overlapping.
