Age has no bearing. Social utility is, to me, a ridiculous
   measure of intrinsic worth.

   When you're much older, Seedy, and if the opportunity for spare
   parts came up, you would just curl up and die instead? Maybe you
   would but the line of thinking seems a little more agism than
   philosophy.
