* Thank you Maxx - wow whoever made this graphic - it's amazing. And it's very true - it's a strange moment when you look in the mirror and you realize the monster that stares back at you _is also_ you - that the thing you fear most isn't a jumpscaring animatronic bunny [or an awful job where you can't move all day - reminded me too much of school and a few jobs I've had] - but it's the monster that follows you everywhere you go, is a part of your dreams, is with you when you awaken. Making peace with that monster that both is and isn't you is the work of an entire lifetime as far as I can tell. Can't keep him chained up in a box in the brain but can't let him have complete freedom either... and you are he and he is you and he is not you and you are not him. The most complicated bit of quantum physics is simple in comparison to this conundrum. But it's entirely doable. Thanks for sharing the graphic and I'm a fan of the deathnote fandom; I don't have time to be a part of it but I love the creative works (like these) that come from the fandom. Awesome stuff. Very insightful. Thanks! Maxx yeah, it is very true. this character is actually someone who i can relate to on many levels, we share many attribute. this character, L, is actually very influential in a respective manner. L has mad many quotes suck as "Being alone is better that being with the wrong person." and much more but by far, this is my favorite quote and because of how foreshadowing and how, whats the word, sly (there we go!) it is with its meaning, i knew you would like it. and yeah thanks for your incite! I am that monster." quote. Some people spend their whole lives running away from the monster that's right inside of them and they become the monster and don't even realize it. But people who know their monster and face it... understand it... appreciate it... even make use of it... are more "real" than people who pretend to be perfect all of the time.
