The myth of perfection is so pervasive - and.. I blame Plato. I don't believe in a platonic realm; I mean, it sort of exists but I believe it's mostly an illusion because of how our brains interpret reality and our visual systems construct imaginary lines around objects, come up with perspective, etc. it seems that nothing is 2 dimensional in reality, yet we draw lines on paper and can visualize something as being real. Then comes the process of trying to force reality to fit the lines. But reality is reality. It's not 2 dimensional. It doesn't fit on paper. Lines aren't even 2 dimensional. They're bumpy.
