Certainty is but an emotion yet an addictive one.* Doesn't
   invalidate rationality but rather, to me, puts it in the spectra
   within which it belongs, that of emotional states... and a very
   powerful set of limited emotional states at that, capable of
   much. Tried finding the article, but I haven't put my entire

   though, where is my ramblings from 9/30/2005 about a 3 way
   switch idea I had when I was a teenager in the 80s... that of
   three states of "OFF, I DON'T KNOW, OFF" - and the two off
   states would be distinct (one's on the left side, one's on the
   right side of course) and the "I don't know" would have infinite
   settings (infinite so far as whatever it was inhibiting and
   allowing) Left inhibited, infinite range from almost inhibited,
   totally open (100%) in the middle, to a flipped inhibition
   towards the right, then OFF. I'm sure there's already something
   like that.. I just never got into circuitry design.* I did this
