So, you've never had someone come up to you and say, "You're doing it wrong" in the middle of the project and take over from you? They're in the midst of a project when they talk that way.** Men are lucky; we only have to rely on a couple of emotions.* We call those emotional states "Rational Thought". The rest of our emotions are immature, underdeveloped, including my own.* But they have names for all those emotions.* They know more about how to describe them.* They work in a world of symbolism with reading body language and cues; all of which is as hackneyed and wrong as half the stuff that gets pumped out by males in scientific journals (the good filters up to the top, but most scientific papers are as much bunk as the results of three women gossiping about the true intentions of another woman). Same brain processes.* Different purposes. Philosophy is a better example.* Philosophy, while a noble pursuit and all that stuff, is basically: Men gossiping about dead men who wrote books and trying to ascertain their true intentions.* "What did they really mean when they said that?" Same thing women do. We're just trained to ignore the obvious.* Same brain circuits being used. Different purposes.* Hence, confusion. Oh well.* Married to the concept of perpetual misunderstanding.* Makes it easier than thinking of other possibilities I suppose.* Certainty is an emotional state like any other; we just call it Reason and give it a high status.* Oh well.
